History of IRISGROUP:

the Company owns 2 sawmills

located in Western Ukraine namely in Deliatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk region and in Skole, Lviv region where we have rebuilt part of an old wood-processing factories

Main Beech & Softwood products:

  • unedged and edged, light-steamed and kiln-dried lumbers
  • elements cut-to size (rough furniture pieces)
  • International Standards of Production

at IRISGROUP factories were installed:

  • Primultini saw‐lines
  • Secal dryers with automatic controls
  • Cursal & CML automatic trimming lines
  • UNICONFORT boilers and steamers using firewood
  • International Clients mainly leading wood traders as JAF Global, APP Timber, JWC, Global Timber, AJ Timber, Timber Team International, etc.

  • Business opportunities for Reconstruction in UA
  • WOOD-BIO-BASED MATERIALS – Creation in Western Ukraine the green and innovative Unicorn of Renewable Energies and Natural Resources by a Sustainable Forest. Management with the final goal to replicate the model all over Ukraine,Europe and worldwide.
  • Corks for alcohol beverage. The Business Focus is to produce the upper part of the closure in Beech and sell it to complete cork producers .The idea is to produce 200 cubic meter per month (about 8 trucks per month ).Economics are quite promising with theoretical operative profit of about 50%. All the wood waste will be transformed in Pellets.
  • Sawmills wood-waste-pellets. Irisgroup do not use gas at factories, most of the heat energy needed for drying and heating offices & facilities is generated by burning sawmills by-products: bark, chippings and firewood.When not used by the own facilities, by-products can be sold to the local individuals or companies following the energy-saving approach by using bio energy raw materials.
  • Programme for Medicinal Herbes, Plants, Activated Carbons directly from the Carpathian Forestry.The technology used in order to make the final “dried” product ready for selling is : cogeneration or renewable energy(pellet)
  • Nursery Programme for Reforestation for the Administration of the Region.
